A few years ago we decided to try and start a family as a female, same sex couple. We used your website and found a lovely man who wanted the same things that we did. We lived at opposite ends of the country and without your website this would have never happened. My partner and I had 7 children between us (5 hers and 2 mine) therefore most people would think that we had our hands full and the prospect of another baby would be ridiculous!! Me and my partner Caitlin managed to get pregnant last year in March 2012 by using the artificial insemination technique with a private donor and aSperm Home Express kit. I had a very long pregnancy and wasn't particularly well. I suffered a lot of urine infections and bad back pains. This was all forgotten when our daughter Ellie-Jo Skye was born on 26/11/12 at 09.43 am. She was unfortunately an emergency caesarian as she was both breech and stuck in my pelvis! It was a traumatic birth, 3 days in hospital and I returned home to our two some Brett and Ash (also conceived by home insemination) they where over the moon to a have a gorgeous little sister. She is mow 12 weeks old and doing really well. On the 5th March this year it will be the anniversary of when we conceived Ellie-Jo and we hope to celebrate the date with our family. It is so exciting and wonderful having Ellie-Jo and we really hope to give her a little brother or sister one day (once I have recovered from this birth).

It's the best of the donor websites, however I am now retiring. I have helped 1 x hetro, 2 x lesbian couples by AI. They all have happy daughters.



I have also met another lesbian couple with whom I will have a basic co-parenting agreement with them. I hope to set up in North Wales and they will be in the South of the country. The mums and kids will basically holiday with me a few times and year. I will also be the parent if anything happens to the mums, as well as finically contribute towards school trips etc. Perfect set up for me.

As a guy who made the decision to walk the talk w/regards to helping same sex couples become families, I didn't know what to expect when setting out on this journey. Having used a couple of other sperm donor sites I can emphatically say that Pride Angel is the best. Actually, in my case, too good. Having originally set out to help 1-2 families, I find myself having been the donor to no less than 6 families (3 of which I met through Pride Angel). It's crazy to think about actually. But yeah, the couples on this site are friendly, approachable and serious. Must stem from the admins? :-).

I do like your site as I find the ladies on it are sincere in their search for a donor and I have never been messed around by anyone on your site and none have made inappropriate suggestions as to how I should supply my donation! I wouldn't fancy putting myself at risk doing such a thing. When people ask me to help them they say also that I seem to make the whole process normal whereas at first it must be quite a strange thing to even think of doing to start with, having kids with a complete stranger!
